  • This will be the 180th meeting between Juventus and AC Milan in Serie A: the Bianconeri lead the head-to-head with 68 wins versus 53 for the Rossoneri, with 58 encounters ending in a draw.
  • After the Italian Super Cup clash earlier this month, Juventus and Milan will face each other twice in the space 15 days for the first time since February 2002 – in that case, it was a two-legged Coppa Italia tie, in which the Bianconeri won the first leg and drew the return.

  • Milan is the only team that has not conceded a goal during injury time, counting both the first and second half, this Serie A season.

Player Numbers

  • Manuel Locatelli's first 48 appearances in Serie A came with the Milan shirt between 2016 and 2018, in which he scored two goals, including one against Juventus on 22 October 2016. He has since scored against Rossoneri in the competition, the winner in last season’s clash at San Siro.
  • Juventus' last 11 Serie A goals have been scored by 10 different players; the only one to score more than once in this period was Khephren Thuram, with a brace against Fiorentina. The French midfielder has been involved in three goals in his last two home league appearances.
  • Kenan Yildiz has scored six goals in Serie A before turning 20, the same amount as Alessandro Del Piero. Since the early 1990s only Moise Kean (seven) has done better with the Juventus shirt in the competition considering under-20 players.
  • Over the last two Serie A seasons, Weston McKennie has provided 10 assists and among midfielders, only this match’s opponent Christian Pulisic (12) and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (11) have done better. McKennie’s assists have won eight points for his team, more than any other midfielder over this period.

Opposition Focus
