Coach Igor Tudor and Nicolo Savona spoke to the press after Juventus’ 1-1 draw against Bologna on Matchday 35 of the Serie A season.
“We prepared for this match by aiming to pass the ball into space and battle physically. They are free-flowing and enthusiastic, but we played a solid game, in a tough setting and on a pitch where everyone suffered. We look ahead, there are three games left and it’s all to play for, now we go to Rome with confidence. We came close to going two-nil up several times, we lacked fluidity in our final ball, but overall I'm satisfied, I was also impressed by the guys who came off the bench. Nothing is decided, and I don't think it will be even after next Saturday, there are many teams in the battle, whoever has more desire and more quality will qualify for the Champions League.”
“I am satisfied with my performance, even though playing as part of a back three was a novelty for me. It was an important match for both teams, we went ahead, then Bologna equalised, but we take this point and are already looking forward to the Lazio match. We played good football against a strong opponent and we remained compact until the end, showing character. The coach gives us enthusiasm and I think the whole team put in a good performance today. Personally I am happy with my first season with the first team, I didn't expect so many appearances, now we have to remain focused to finish well.”
