The race is very much alive for the Premier League’s Golden Boot this season.
Where Erling Haaland last year romped to winning the award for the League’s top scorer during his first season with Manchester City, things are slightly different this time around.
Haaland is again the favourite to lift the prestigious individual trophy at the end of the campaign but faces genuine competition from former City teammate, Cole Palmer.
The England international has proven a revelation since joining Chelsea and is currently just one behind Haaland’s haul of 21 with 20 strikes himself.
Behind those sit Newcastle’s Alexander Isak and Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins (both 19), while Dominic Solanke and Mohamed Salah are further back on 18 and 17 respectively.
English duo Jarrod Bowen and Phil Foden are also in contention after prolific campaigns.
