Lazio welcome Juventus to the Stadio Olimpico tonight in a crucial contest for the Champions League race.

Since the 5-0 defeat to Bologna, the Biancocelesti have been on a string of 6 consecutive unbeaten matches in the league but they exited the Europa League after the quarter-final loss to Bodo/Glimt.

Lazio kept their top-four hopes alive by sealing a 1-0 victory over Empoli in their last outing, thanks to an early strike from Boulaye Dia. Marco Baroni is set to start Nicolo Rovella and Matteo Guendouzi in the midfield while deploying Taty Castellanos at the front.

Meanwhile, Juventus will aim to defend their 4th place, which they have secured courtesy of a superior goal difference. The Bianconeri’s top-four hopes sustained a dent when they were held to a 1-1 draw against Bologna. Khephren Thuram netted his fourth league goal of the campaign in the ninth minute and Bologna equalised through Remo Freuler after the break. Igor Tudor has managed to bring Juventus back on track after Thiago Motta’s underwhelming stint.

Juventus need to secure Champions League football for next season as their finances are set to take a major hit if they fail to do so.
