Pompey announced the news via a post on their official club website this evening.
The 26-year-old joins Portsmouth after spending the last 12 months at Durham. The player joined The Wildcats in the January 2024 transfer window and she made four appearances for the club in the Barclays Women’s Championship in the second half of last season. Bramley has struggled for game time this term with her only outings coming in the Subway Women’s League Cup.
Bramley is in desperate need of a regular run of games and she will be hoping to get that with Portsmouth in the coming months.
After joining Portsmouth, Bramley said “I’m so excited to be here and have the chance to contribute to something so important.”
Bramley spent her youth on the books of Leicester City before joining Loughborough Foxes where she got a taste of FA Women’s National League football. The player then moved to Australia where she turned out for South Melbourne and West Adelaide United.
Bramley is Portsmouth’s fourth signing of the January transfer window. She could go straight into the squad for Sunday’s trip to Newcastle United in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
