A player who left Chelsea on loan yesterday has called his new club “one of the best clubs in the world” in his first interview.

There was a lot going on yesterday and a lot going on in the lead up to the transfer deadline day as well. Chelsea were involved in a few dramatic situations as the summer transfer window of 2025 drew to a close.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea tried to sign Wolves striker on deadline day!!

Left back Ben Chilwell finally got a permanent move away from Chelsea as his permanent move to BlueCo club Strasbourg was confirmed late last night, and I’m sure the former England international and Champions League winner will be absolutely buzzing that he will get to play football again and actually be part of something.

And after a summer of speculation and an expectation that he was going to be leaving, striker Nicolas Jackson finally got his move away confirmed, joining Bayern Munich on loan for the season. Bayern have an obligation to sign him next summer, but some conditions will need to be met for that to actually go through, so I guess there is a slight chance he still comes back to Chelsea next summer.

Jackson calls Bayern best in the world

The Striker gave his first interview as a Bayern loan player after his move was confirmed, as cited on X last night.

He said:

“I’m really happy to now be part of this great club. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world. Everyone knows the names of the legends who’ve played here and knows that this club stands for the greatest success. I’ve got big goals and dreams here and will give my all to help Bayern win more titles.”

We will meet again

Chelsea play Bayern Munich in the Champions League soon this season, so we will meet you again soon, Nico!
