The Premier League weekend brought another huge game for the current Premier League leaders, as a trip to West London saw Liverpool take on Brentford.

The lineup and subsequent ratings are listed below.

Alisson Becker – 8.0

The world-class Brazilian was tested very early on though much of his work in the first half was sporadic and easy to deal with.

After the restart, the former Roma man was needed to stop good chances from counterattacks by Brentford as Bryan Mbeumo and  Yoane Wissa tested the giant stopper.

Trent Alexander Arnold – 7.0

The England superstar started the game with a desire to impact the game, however, he struggled to make a decisive impact in the first half.

In the second half, the vice-captain was more prominent in build-up and was keen to track runners and cover ground when called upon. A good chance to open the scoring snuck wide before he produced the cross for the all-important opening goal.

The Greek international skipper was prolific with balls into the box, as countless corners were delivered by the rotation option.

After the halftime break, the 27-year-old was keen to undertake his defensive duties, though his overall impact was often lacking.

The France international defender was powerful and combative against a strong Brentford attack.

Following the break, the towering centre-back was always alert and able to cover vast amounts of ground to ensure there were limitations in the fins shot or chance.

The captain and leader of this team was authority-driven and disciplined in his work, as he pushed the side towards the opposing goal as often as possible.

In the second period of the game, the former Celtic man was a rock and stood his ground through all pressure.

The Duch midfielder was very energetic and proactive on the ball as he drove through the pitch at will.

After the break, the former Ajax prodigy was again good and made sure he was alert to cover runs and potential danger.

The Argentina World Cup World Cup winner was steady and selective in his movement as he looked to control the tempo and potential dangers around him.

In the second half of this game, the former Brighton man was tiring at times with a need for more tactical positioning he chose to be the man that held his ground in the centre of the park.

The Columbian attacker started as the False Nine and struggled to make a strong case to continue in the role.

After the restart, the former Porto man was involved in fleeting chances, however, he was often outnumbered against a resolute defence.

The Dutch forward started on the left of an attacking front three and struggled to make a strong impression. His running and power were well maintained as Brentford looked to stunt his pace with bodies.

After the halftime break, the former PSV man was more intricate and had half chances to open the scoring before leaving the pitch.

The Egyptian King was nullified at times by both those around him and his lack of real incision.

After the intermission, the record-breaking goalscorer was keen to try and lay on opportunities as his team hunted the opening goal.
