Player Ratings from Borussia Dortmund's wild 2-2 draw against Bayern Munich

It was another Der Klassiker, but this one was especially precarious. Dortmund were humiliated in the UEFA Champions League by Barcelona just days earlier, and Bayern Munich already has the Bundesliga title well within their grasp. This could have been an ugly fixture.
Perhaps the draw feels surprising because for most of this game, many in the team looked poor. The first half especially, saw one-way traffic from Bayern and more desperate defending than I’m comfortable with. But the second half was a different story, with a few tactical adjustments.
Maxi Beier opened the scoring early in the second half through a Julian Ryerson cross, and surprised us all. What was predictable however, was the two goals in quick succession from Bayern to take the lead. The fact Raphael Guerreiro score simply hurt. But Dortmund didn’t give up, and Waldemar Anton found an equalizer after Jonas Urbig parried a shot from Serhou Guirassy.
This is now the third consecutive match between Bayern and Dortmund where Bayern have not been the victors. It’s safe to say the curse has been broken. And a point is still very important in BVB’s pursuit of Europe. Here are the player ratings from Dortmund’s 2-2 Draw against Bayern:
