The Premier League have named the nominees for April’s Goal of the Month award.

The Premier League also revealed the nominees for the April Manager of the Month award.

Mikel Arteta was first up having guided Arsenal to the top of the table with just four games of the campaign left to play.

Unsurprisingly, Everton coach Sean Dyche was also amongst the trio of names with the Toffees now safely out of relegation trouble after a brilliant four weeks.

Rounding things off is Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola with the reigning champions unbeaten in the month.

Earlier on Thursday the Premier League unveiled the six nominees for April’s Player of the Month award.

Chelsea star Cole Palmer led the way following his excellent month for the Blues.

The young Englishman was also joined by Manchester City defender Joško Gvardiol, who scored twice last month.

Bruno Fernandes, Kai Havertz, Jordan Pickford and Jean-Philippe Mateta rounded up the shortlist.
