PL: Kareem Ahmed signs his first professional contract with the Reds

Good news for Kareem Ahmed. The young Egypt U20 international has just signed his first professional contract with Liverpool's Reds.

The 18-year-old, a homegrown Liverpool talent, has been playing with the U18 squad since December 2022. Last season, he was involved in 12 goals (7 scored, 5 assists).

The young Pharaoh featured in two UEFA Youth League matches last season, facing Bologna and RB Leipzig.

The English club has announced that Kareem will initially play with the U21 team during the 2025-2026 season under the guidance of Rob Page, as he awaits a future opportunity with the first team.
