According to De Telegraaf, Peter Bosz is in talks with PSV’s management about extending his contract. The 61-year-old coach’s current contract with PSV runs until the summer of 2026.
Bosz took over from Ruud van Nistelrooy as manager of PSV in mid-2023. Since then, the Apeldoorn native has won the league title in both seasons. He also won the Johan Cruyff Shield twice, in 2023 and last Sunday against Go Ahead Eagles.
General manager Marcel Brands said in May, after winning the national title, that the PSV board would like to extend Bosz’s contract.
“It’s not that exciting, you know. I’ve known for a while that PSV really wants this. I find that very interesting too,” said Bosz, who previously worked as head coach at Heracles Almelo, Vitesse, Ajax, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, and Olympique Lyon.
“I’m having an incredible time, for a lot of reasons. I feel completely at home here. I talk to football director Earnest Stewart every day and almost every day with Marcel Brands. We’re in talks, and I’m definitely open to it.”
