Paris Saint-Germain found themselves down 2-0 to Manchester City early in the second half, but the capital club bounced back with four unanswered goals to secure a thrilling 4-2 win.
Ousmane Dembélé got things rolling by pulling one back to make it 2-1, and then Bradley Barcola leveled the score with a goal of his own. From there, PSG took control of the match.
In the 78th minute, João Neves put PSG in front with a header from close range after a well-executed set piece. Gonçalo Ramos sealed the victory, adding an insurance goal that was confirmed by VAR after a brief review.

After the match, manager Pep Guardiola spoke to Canal Plus and shared his thoughts on Manchester City coughing up a 2-0 lead to PSG.
“PSG were better, they had one more player in midfield with their false nine and it was hard to press him,” Guardiola said. “I give so much credit to PSG. PSG is a fantastic, exceptional team wow, and with very good defenders, too, yeah. I congratulated Luis Enrique..”
The win was important for PSG’s chances of advancing to the next stage of the competition, as the Ligue 1 McDonald’s club now sit in 22nd place with 10 points. They’ll have a chance to secure their spot in the next phase of the Champions League on Matchday 8 when they take on VfB Stuttgart.
