According to Sacha Tavolieri, Lille manager Paulo Fonseca is set to make a decision on his future after Les Dogues’ final match of the season against Nice. The match is crucial for Les Dogues as they need to better Brest’s result to qualify for Champions League football next season.

Fonseca is one of the most in-demand coaches in Europe with his future at the Stade Pierre Mauroy uncertain. Milan have shown a strong interest in the former Roma coach and he is interested in taking the role at the San Siro, according to Fabrizio Romano. In addition, Marseille are also interested in appointing the Lille head coach to replace the retiring Jean-Louis Gasset.

Marseille or Milan?

It remains to be seen where Fonseca will be patrolling the touchline next season. With interest in France and elsewhere in Europe, the former Porto manager is spoilt for choice when deciding where he will manage next term. He is reportedly interested in assuming the role of new Milan coach but Marseille are extremely interested in him arriving at the dugout in the Stade Vélodrome.
