Paris FC are on the hunt for a right-back and seem to have their eyes set on a Barcelona player to fill that void.
L’Équipe reported on Friday that the newly promoted French side have made an inquiry with FC Barcelona about Héctor Fort (18). The teenager who was born in Barcelona could be seen as an ideal addition to a club that will feature in the top flight for the first time in over 40 years.
The Spaniard made 17 appearances for Hansi Flick’s side in their title-winning La Liga campaign in 2024-25.
At the moment, Paris manager Stéphane Gilli seemingly has two options on the right side next season, Mathys Tourraine (24) and Sofiane Alakouch (27), both of whom are older and more experienced than Fort.
Fort also earned two caps in the Champions League. Even though he suffered a knock last season, the right side of the Barcelona defence at the moment is occupied by French international Jules Koundé (26). The 2022 World Cup runner-up is under contract with the Spanish side until 2030. Fort is contracted with Barcelona until 2026.
