Leandro Paredes was given a royal welcome at the Bombonera in Buenos Aires.
The midfielder was greeted by thousands of fans who had been awaiting his arrival for weeks and months.
Following his official presentation, Paredes spoke to the media in a press conference.
“The feeling is incredible. My dream has always been to come back. I’m coming back at an age where I’m doing really well. I’m happy, delighted to be back, and I hope to be able to help as soon as possible.”
“This is one of the most important days of my life. I’ve been lucky, I’ve achieved important goals, and this return is wonderful. I need to get back into physical shape. I’ve already spoken to the coach and the trainers, so I can’t set a date to play. We’ll see.”
“I’d love for Dybala to come to Boca, because it’s a dream for him, given the kind of person he is, but everyone has their own career and their own life. If he were to come, it would be really nice.”
“Leaving Roma hurts, because they’ve always given me so much affection. My children were born there, but I returned to Boca, and that’s what I wanted.”
