Former Juventus director Fabio Paratici is set to return to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur by October at the latest following the 30-month suspension that was handed to him in 2023 according to reports in the UK.

Reports Paratici finally set to return to Tottenham

According to reports from Ben Jacobs and TalkSport, Paratici has agreed to return to Tottenham in a formal role no later than October 1. He has reportedly been serving as a consultant over the summer.

Paratici had been working for Tottenham up until the confirmation of his ban from FIFA, which denied him from any involvement with a professional football side for 30 months at the beginning of 2023.

That ban was eventually completed on July 1.

There had been reports that he was close to joining Milan alongside Massimiliano Allegri earlier this summer, but that move never materialised due to legal complications.

Now, according to Tuesday’s report, Paratici is set to return to Tottenham in an official role, although Tottenham claim that his re-appointment is still hypothetical at this stage, as per TalkSport.

The 53-year-old had been involved in the signing of new Tottenham captain Cuti Romero during his first spell with Spurs, plus the additions of former Serie A talents Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur, Destiny Udogie and Ivan Perisic.
