It's an incredibly sad anniversary for Wolves on Friday with the club looking back on the eighth anniversary of Diogo Jota joining the Molineux outfit.

Jota tragically passed away alongside his brother André Silva earlier this month in a car accident.

And before the Liverpool striker was starring at Anfield, he became a fan favourite at Wolves.

Jota spent three years in the Black Country but netted 44 goals in his 131 appearances.

And it was on this day in 2017 that Wolves paid Porto a bargain €14m for his services.
