With the news of Bremer’s injury, Juventus have been surveying the mercato for another central defender who could fit their aspirations of success, and an AC Milan defender has taken a place on that list.

When the severity of the Brazilian defender’s injury was revealed, news of the Bianconeri’s interest in several top-level defenders emerged, and one of the shocks was Fikayo Tomori. Whilst the Englishman has been poor for Milan so far this season, there are doubts about the Rossoneri’s willingness to part with him.

However, if he is unable to mend his relationship with Paulo Fonseca, there could be a shock on the horizon, but whether the Portuguese head coach will have the time to make such a decision remains to be seen.

With Pierre Kalulu impressing Thiago Motta in Turin, there are questions about reuniting the Frenchman with the partner whom he won the Scudetto with, but Franco Ordine has questioned why the Diavolo would allow this when speaking to TMW Radio (via Milan News).

Is Skriniar the right player to replace Bremer at Juve?

“Is there also Tomori? I don’t think there is any reason for a farewell unless they want to reform the pair from the last Scudetto Milan at Juve. Skriniar doesn’t have the characteristics then to play next to Kalulu, you need someone to lead the defence. Tomori has those characteristics, it’s true, but we’ll see.”
