Real Madrid will host Osasuna at the Bernabéu on Saturday afternoon in La Liga’s early kick-off at 13:00 GMT.
Carlo Ancelotti announced the matchday squad for the clash on Friday afternoon, and with it comes two changes from the squad that faced AC Milan in the Champions League during the week.
The biggest absence in the squad is that of Frenchman Aurélien Tchouaméni, who suffered a sprained ankle in the match against AC Milan, although after being whistled by the Real Madrid faithful, he likely wouldn’t have played anyway.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid Castilla defender Raúl Asencio has been called up to the senior squad to provide defensive cover after making a couple of cameos in the club’s pre-season friendlies.
Thibaut Courtois, Dani Carvajal and David Alaba all miss out, though these are expected absentees due to injury.
Osasuna will be heading into the match on a strong run of form away from home, having gone unbeaten in their last four matches on the road.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have been struggling to meet their always-high standards, having lost their last two matches.
