Julen Lopetegui is finding his job under serious threat ahead of the clash with Liverpool later today.
Although there has been a recent upturn in results, the manner of the performances are still of great concern amongst the clubs hierarchy, as support for Lopetegui dwindles.
It’s understood that a heavy loss to Liverpool could be the final straw, or put him very close to the sack at least.
Lopetegui will be relying on a hugely improved display to stand a chance against a ruthless Liverpool side, who have the Premier League title very much in their sights.
West Ham will be without Soucek and Rodriguez today, who are both suspended after picking up yellow cards in the previous fixture.
Carlos Soler and Max Kilman will be assessed after picking up minor injuries, however it’s expected that Fabianski will likely miss out due to concussion protocols.
Dominik Szoboszlai, Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate are missing for the visitors, while they continue to manage the fitness of Diego Jota.
