OGC Nice set to secure replacement for Juventus-bound Khéphren Thuram | OneFootball

Khéphren Thuram’s (23) move to Juventus looks set to be wrapped up imminently, however, OGC Nice have almost secured his replacement.

With just one year remaining on his contract, it is no surprise that Thuram is leaving Nice, in fact, it is by design. There was no talk of an extension and therefore this represented Les Aiglons’ final chance to cash in on the France international. L’Équipe understands that a deal has been struck with Juventus. The transfer will be worth around €25m, including bonuses. Thuram himself has already agreed to join the Serie A giants, where his father, Lilian, played between 2001 and 2006.

Anticipating Thuram’s departure, Nice have already almost secured his replacement. Tanguy Ndombele (27) is a free agent since the start of the month after his contract with Tottenham Hotspur was terminated by mutual consent. L’Équipe understands that his arrival is imminent and he will sign a two-year deal with Le Gym.
