Real Madrid have revealed their squad for the upcoming home fixture against Villarreal, with the most notable inclusion being Dani Ceballos. His return has come as a surprise to many, as he has not been a regular feature recently.
In addition to Ceballos, Carlo Ancelotti has received good news regarding key players Eder Militao and Rodrygo.
Both Brazilian players had picked up injuries during the match against Lille, but they participated in training sessions on Thursday and Friday, showing significant improvement.
Their recovery has been quick enough for them to make the squad, providing a boost to the team ahead of the clash against Villarreal.
There were initial concerns over Eduardo Camavinga’s condition, as he made his first start of the season in the Lille game.
However, the young midfielder showed no signs of discomfort, proving he is ready to be available for the Villarreal match. This will add further depth to the midfield, giving Ancelotti more options in a busy schedule.
Another key player, Kylian Mbappe, will also be available for selection. Mbappe had an impressive recovery from his recent setback, enabling him to play against Lille, and he is set to feature once again before the upcoming international break.
Notably, Mbappe has an agreement with France manager Didier Deschamps to skip international duty this time, ensuring he remains fresh for Real Madrid.
This updated squad provides Real Madrid with a strong line-up for what promises to be a challenging match against Villarreal.
With important players returning from injury and the inclusion of surprise names like Ceballos, Ancelotti’s side will be aiming to secure all three points at home.
