Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has been recognised as the EA Sports LaLiga Player of the Month for December.

This honour highlights his outstanding performances in the domestic competition during the month.

The young English talent has been in exceptional form, finding the back of the net in four out of five matches played in December.

Bellingham began the month on a strong note, converting a penalty in Real Madrid’s 2-0 victory against Getafe. Despite his side’s 2-1 loss to Athletic Club a few days later, he managed to score yet again, continuing to demonstrate his importance to the team.

In a dominant 3-0 win over a tricky Girona side, Bellingham played a key role, opening the scoring to put Real Madrid in control.

His scoring streak extended to a thrilling 3-3 draw against Rayo Vallecano, where his contribution was vital to securing a hard-fought point.

While he did not score in the final match of the month, Bellingham still made a significant impact as Real Madrid secured a 4-2 win over Sevilla.

Another stellar campaign

This remarkable run of form has seen Bellingham shine for the second season running in Spain. The midfielder has already registered six goals and four assists in the current LaLiga campaign, proving his value as a key player for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.

His consistency and ability to perform in crucial moments have made him an indispensable part of the squad.

Bellingham’s achievement also marks the continuation of Real Madrid’s dominance in individual accolades. He takes over the award from his teammate Vinicius Jr., who was named the best player in November.

In the final vote, Bellingham outperformed other standout players, including Oihan Sancet (Athletic Club), Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid), Raphinha (Barcelona), and Sandro (UD Las Palmas), to claim his first Player of the Month award this season.
