Inter confirm Federico Dimarco ‘strained a muscle in his right thigh’ and according to Italian sources, the Nerazzurri star will remain out of action for three weeks.
Inter confirmed a muscle injury for their star defender Dimarco on Monday.
“Federico Dimarco underwent medical tests this morning at the Istituto Humanitas di Rozzano,” the Serie A giants said in a statement.
“It was revealed that he had strained a muscle in his right thigh. His condition will be assessed in the coming days.”

Sky Sport Italia and FCInter1908 claim Dimarco will remain out of action for at least 20 days.
This means Dimarco is not expected to play again for Inter before the international break in March.
The Italy international was subbed off in the second half of a 1-1 draw against Napoli on Saturday.
Dimarco had given Inter the lead in the first half with a stunning free-kick goal.
Simone Inzaghi’s men will meet Feyenoord in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 on Wednesday when Denzel Dumfries will be the only wing-back available.
Besides Dimarco, in fact, Carlos Augusto, Matteo Darmian and Nicola Zalewski are also injured.
