Eintracht Frankfurt have confirmed that Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe has completed a loan switch to French side Stade Brest on a one-year deal with a buy option clause included.

Get German Football News reported on Sunday that Dina Ebimbe was close to a deal with Brest over a loan move with a €7m purchase option, which kicker have reaffirmed.

Dina Ebimbe (24) returns to France after joining Frankfurt from Paris Saint-Germain in August 2022. The winger initially came to Deutsche Bank Park on loan deal, but his switch was made permanent the following summer.

For the Eagles, Dina Ebimbe recorded 15 goals and eight assists in 85 competitive appearances across all competitions. Head coach Dino Toppmöller made it clear that the 24-year-old was not in his plans for the current season, having been excluded from SGE training for most of the summer to discuss his future with potential suitors.

It remains to be seen whether the buy option will be activated, as the Frenchman’s current contract at Eintracht runs until 30 June 2027 and as such, will have one more year left on his deal, should he return to Frankfurt at the end of the current campaign.
