Colombo grew up in the youth system of Milan and was highly-rated as a teen. However, he never really found a place with the Rossoneri and now he’s on the move once again.

The official announcement came on Monday evening:

“Milan announces that Lorenzo Colombo has joined Genoa CFC temporarily, with an option to buy which becomes an obligation upon the fulfillment of certain conditions. The Club wishes Lorenzo all the very best for the upcoming season.”

It is believed that Genoa’s option to buy is for around €10 million. The 23-year-old striker has 160 appearances in all competitions, scoring 25 career goals.

Milan will be signing a new striker this summer.
