Official: Bouanani Joins Stuttgart as Latest Algerian Talent in Bundesliga
Stuttgart've officially announced the signing of Algerian international Badredine Bouanani from French side Nice. The 20 year old winger's penned contract running until 2030 and will wear the number 27 shirt.
After completing his medical on Sunday, Bounanani expressed delight with the move. He described Stuttgart as "a big club" and said he's eager to contribute to the team’s success.
He highlighted his admiration for the Bundesliga adding that he followed the league closely during his time in France.
Speaking to Stuttgart’s official website, the Algerian talent said he's motivated to grow & showcase his skills.
"I enjoy playing as right winger and also in midfield. I like dribbling, creating danger and helping my teammates. I want to develop further and use my qualities for the benefit of the team" he explained.
Bounanani also looked ahead to his 1st training sessions with his new teammates. He hopes to adapt quickly to the squad & the city noting that he's eager to learn and experience everything in the coming weeks.
The young winger becomes the 6th Algerian in the Bundesliga this season. He joins Fares Chaibi (Eintracht Frankfurt), Ramy Bensebaini & Elias Benkara (Borussia Dortmund), Mohamed Amoura (Wolfsburg) and Ibrahim Maza (Bayer Leverkusen).
