The holiday season is here and New York City FC players are in the middle of their offseason. The club is working diligently for the 2025 campaign and will be extremely busy before the end of the year. They want to make sure the team finishes higher than sixth place in the Eastern Conference Standings and makes it past the Conference Semifinals of the MLS Cup Playoffs.
In the meantime, the players can enjoy their time off. Of course, one hopes they will work to improve their craft before preseason begins next year. However, it is vital for them to step back from the game and recharge. So, similar to last year, let's look at what some of the NYCFC players have been up to this offseason.
Julián Fernández and his wife were one of a few players who were recently on vacation. The two were in Mexico in the Costa Mujeres region. One can assume they were at a resort since this is a major vacation destination area. They spent time at the beach and the ocean looked absolutely stunning.
Hopefully, this was the perfect recharge the NYCFC winger needed. The Argentine barely played as the season progressed and was probably disappointed with how the year went. There are unsubstantiated rumors he will leave the team, but regardless of where the future holds, Fernández will return from the offseason ready to go.
Keaton Parks was or is still in the Bahamas with his family. The midfielder always shares his adventures with his wife and son, so it made sense for him to share photos of the vacation. They spent time in beautiful weather, swam with what appeared to be seals, and more.
In addition, Parks posted pictures from great photo spots from where they were staying. It seems the NYCFC midfielder and his family had a great time away from cold New York.
Another player who did not play as much as he was expected to was Agustín Ojeda. His playing time reduced as the season went on, so he is another player who needs the offseason. The NYCFC player's partner posted how they were back in Argentina. It is unknown whether they were visiting the location or were at home.
The two were enjoying the summertime by the pool and hanging with the most adorable dog. Perhaps Ojeda can bring some of the nice weather when he returns to New York.
