The talented winger has scored a number of sublime goals this season, and he continued that run with an incredible piece of play against Bayern.

Gittens turned on the afterburners and got past Konrad Laimer with a feint before making his run into the box and finding the back of the net comfortably past Manuel Neuer.

And Nuri Sahin hailed the 20 year old's impact after the game. "You need 1-on-1 players who have speed. He's maturing in his game. We talk a lot about risk and reward. When do I go into the 1-on-1, when do I prepare for it? When he gets rolling, he's a fantastic player. He's also made huge strides defensively," Sahin said about Gittens in an interview with Sky Sport.

After two seasons of struggling with various injury problems, Jamie Gittens has made huge strides in his development this season and has cemented his place in the Borussia Dortmund starting XI with consistently strong performances from the left wing.

Gittens has eight goals and four assists to his name this season in 19 appearances for Borussia Dortmund, and has now scored in each of the team's last three games.

Several big clubs from the English Premier League are already said to be following his development. And if he continues to perform the way he has in recent weeks, it won't be long before Borussia Dortmund are being forced to fend off offers for his signature.
