There is no truth in the claim of Leicester City contacting Middlesbrough for West Ham United and Ipswich Town target Emmanuel Latte Lath, according to the Northern Echo.
The 26-year-old forward is in red-hot form this season for Boro and has netted nine goals in 25 appearances while registering two assists.
Latte Lath’s performances have drawn attention from Premier League outfits Ipswich Town, West Ham and Leicester City, who all want to boost their attacking options.
It was suggested that Leicester City made contact with Middlesbrough and they are close to agreeing on a £12m deal for Latte Lath.
However, it has been claimed that the Foxes have not established contact with the Championship outfit for West Ham and Ipswich target Latte Lath.
It is also suggested that Middlesbrough would want more than £12m to part ways with the centre forward in January.
In the summer Ipswich Town failed with a £20m bid to convince the Championship outfit to sign Latte Lath.
West Ham, who are keen on bolstering their forward department, are also ardent admirers of the forward’s talents.
Latte Lath has a contract with Middlesbrough until 2027 and it remains to be seen if any of the three Premier League outfits will be able to come up with an offer to sign the striker in January.
