Niels Nkounkou departs on loan

The 24-year-old left-back has joined Italian top-flight club Torino FC until the end of the 2025/26 season.

Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to loan Niels Nkounkou to Italian Serie A side Torino FC, who have the option to make the move permanent at the end of the 2025/26 season.

The left-back has made 62 appearances in all competitions since joining the Eagles from AS Saint-Étienne in September 2023, scoring three goals and setting up another three. Nkounkou started 33 of those games, including 23 in his debut 2023/24 campaign. The Frenchman marked his Eintracht debut with a goal to earn his team a 1-1 draw against 1. FC Köln.

Nkounkou’s only appearance of the current campaign came against FV Engers 07 in the DFB Cup first round.
