Nicola Zalewski’s future remains unresolved after many rumors linked him with an exit from the club this past summer.

In the end, however, Zalewski rejected the only proposal he received from PSV, preferring to stay at Roma.

His decision to stay was subject of much debate among fans – Zalewski is entering the final year of his contract with the Giallorossi and at the moment has not done enough to warrant a new deal.

As reported by Corriere dello Sport, the Roma winger continues to impress on international duty with Poland and struggle whenever he has to represent his boyhood club.

Daniele De Rossi has made it a point to keep relying on him in recent games, both from the start and off the bench.

The player’s performances will eventually indicate the way for the future – at the moment the issue of a new contract remains largely unclear.
