Neymar Jr wins the Samba d'Or 2022

The Paris Saint-Germain forward has been awarded the honour for the best Brazilian player in Europe in 2022.

For the third successive year, Neymar Jr has claimed the prize, adding to his successes in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020 and 2021. That makes six wins in total, four of which he's picked up since signing for the Rouge et Bleu.

It's a record for the award with Thiago Silva the next-best with three wins (2011, 2012, 2013), the latter two came in the colours of Paris Saint-Germain.
