Eleven players are leaving the Newcastle United Women’s team set-up.

An official announcement (see below) on Thursday revealing the news.

The eleven Newcastle United Women players out of contract and not offered new ones.

Good luck to them all in finding new clubs.

Newcastle United Women will release eleven players this summer following the expiry of their contracts.

Becky Langley’s side made it back-to-back promotions by securing the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division title in April and will play in the Barclays Women’s Championship – the second tier of women’s football – next season.

Planning is already under way for the 2024/25 campaign, which kicks off on the weekend of Saturday 7th September. As a Championship side, the Magpies will come up against local rivals Sunderland and Durham, as well as recently relegated Women’s Super League side Bristol City.

Following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, the following players will be leaving the club:
