An exclusive from The Times has now reported that after seeing an offer of £45m knocked back for Anthony Elanga by Nottingham Forest, two other bids have also been turned down.

The exclusive reports that a £50m offer was made for Joao Pedro but Brighton have said no to that.

Whilst a bid of £25m has also been made for James Trafford but the same reply from Burnley, as it was from Brighton and Forest for the other two targets.

After making the three offers totalling £120m in recent days, it now remains to be seen if Newcastle United go back in with improved bids for one or more of Eddie Howe’s summer targets.

The Times says that their information is that Burnley are insisting on £30m+ for their number one goalkeeper.

Elsewhere it has been reported that Nottingham Forest are wanting £60m for Anthony Elanga but allegedly don’t want to sell him, whilst a similar £60m Brighton valuation has been claimed on Joao Pedro.
