ASTORIA, QUEENS — New York International FC (NYIFC), in collaboration with Rivercrest, the official sports bar of Astoria, proudly announces the successful culmination of their recent charity event in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

The fundraiser, held on April 3 at Rivercrest's venue on Ditmars Boulevard, saw players and coaching staff shaving their heads to raise awareness and funds for childhood cancer research.

Through the generous contributions of the community and supporters, the event surpassed its initial goal, raising over $10,000.

NYIFC, established in 2019, competes in the first division of the Cosmopolitan Soccer League.

Beyond their on-field endeavors, the club is deeply committed to community engagement, regularly partnering with local non-profits to address pressing societal issues.
