Portugal are up to sixth, while Netherlands drop and there is a new name in the top 10 with the introduction of Croatia as Italy drop out of the top spots.
Elsewhere, Mexico (13) have leapfrogged USA (15) as a result of their victory over their neighbours in the recent CONCACAF Gold Cup final.
Canada are in their highest ever position of 28th, while the same is also true of Kosovo at 95.
The biggest movers are Costa Rica who move up 14 places to 40th, while the largest drop is shared by Jamaica, Haiti, Congo and the Maldives, who all fall by seven positions.
