Despite Inter’s stubborn stance, the Turkish giants are unwilling to offer more than €15m for the 31-year-old.

Instead, they rely on the player’s alleged desire to move to Istanbul, expecting he’ll put the pressure on the Nerazzurri.

With no such indication from the player so far, negotiations remain at a standstill, leaving Galatasaray increasingly frustrated.

Meanwhile, Cristian Chivu remains optimistic, hoping to have the ex-AC Milan star at his disposal next season.
