New additions to Chivas' preseason training camp | OneFootball

Guadalajara continues with its intense preparation in Cancun and is already thinking about the start of the Apertura 2024, a tournament in which it will seek to be a protagonist from the very first moment. In addition, Chivas will face the Leagues Cup, so they need to be in their best soccer form and reach a good physical rhythm.

For the most demanding stage of the preseason, Fernando Gago called up 29 players, however this list has been adding elements in the last few days and here we will tell you the updates.

The newcomer from the National Senior Team

- Fernando Beltrán concluded his work with the Mexican National Team and immediately traveled to Cancún to join the Rebaño Sagrado's training sessions. Since his return, 'Nene' has been in great physical shape and is working alongside his teammates.

Those who returned from Youth National Teams

- Cade Cowell, who was in the camp of the U.S. National Team that will play in the Olympic Games in Paris, finished his last preparation cycle with the Stars and Stripes and quickly reported to Guadalajara.

- Yael Padilla and Ariel Castro were called up by the Tri U-20 team, which played a couple of friendlies at the FMF's High Performance Center. At the end of the training sessions, both players traveled to Cancun and were put under the orders of Fernando Gago.

The new addition

- Omar Govea was signed by Guadalajara just a few days ago, so he arrived a few days later to the Rojiblanco preseason. From the very first moment he has adapted very well to the group and has shown his soccer skills in every practice.
