National Rail publish video advice for Newcastle United fans travelling by train to Wembley | OneFootball

National Rail have published this advice in a video (see below) for Newcastle United fans heading to Wembley.

Those supporters heading down to London by train, advised to give it a watch.

There was some rare good news regarding rail travel eight days ago.

Two extra trains belatedly added for Newcastle United fans going to the Carabao Cup Final, enabling another 1,200+ to travel by rail from Tyneside.

Hopefully all goes well next weekend.

When it comes to Newcastle United fans getting to and from Wembley, plus more importantly, on the pitch against Liverpool.

Anyway, if you are travelling by train next weekend, well worth a watch below.

A couple of weeks ago we reported about the issues facing Newcastle United fans wanting to travel by train to the Carabao Cup final.

With North East Mayor Kim McGuinness amongst those pleading with rail bosses to do whatever they could to help.

Now on Friday, 16 days before Wembley, some positive news.

With it revealed that extra trains have been put on to help Newcastle United fans.

The extra trains mean that 1,215 more Newcastle United fans will be able to travel by rail.

Delighted Network Rail and LNER have listened to our calls so 1215 more Toon Fans can get to Wembley by train.

The additional LNER trains that have been added for Sunday 16 March:

Leaving Newcastle 07.23 and arriving London 11.09 Leaving Newcastle 07.52 and arriving London 11.44

Leaving London 21.30 and arriving Newcastle 01.24 Leaving London 22.00 and arriving Newcastle 01.46
