Napoli to keep Khvicha Kvaratskhelia amidst interest from the Premier League and PSG | OneFootball

Serie A outfit Napoli have decided against selling star man Khvicha Kvaratskhelia this summer.

According to a tweet by Fabrizio Romano, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has shown no interest in selling Khvicha Kvaratskhelia during this upcoming summer transfer window. The Partenopei want to keep the Georgian international as star striker Victor Osimhen is set to leave soon.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s performances with Napoli have been spectacular since he arrived in 2022 from Dinamo Batumi for a fee of €10 million–12 million. Aurelio De Laurentiis knows that the player’s value has tremendously inflated but he does not want to sacrifice the squad level to broaden his transfer budget.

Several Premier League clubs and Paris Saint-Germain have been on the 23-year-old’s trail since last season but it seems they will have to wait.

Napoli will announce Kvaratskhelia’s contract renewal in the next few days to keep him at the club long-term.
