Napoli are on the verge of completing a deal for PSV winger Noa Lang, with talks between both clubs progressing rapidly this week.
The Partenopei held direct discussions with the Dutch side on Wednesday, putting forward an offer of 25 million with an additional 5 million in performance-related bonuses.
PSV are holding out for closer to 30 million, but both clubs are confident of bridging the remaining gap.
Lang has already agreed to join Napoli and accepted personal terms, clearing a major hurdle in the negotiation process.
According to reports from the Netherlands, the 26-year-old has said yes to a five-year contract that would see him earn 2.5 million per season until June 2030.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Wednesday that Lang is fully committed to the project under Antonio Conte and is now waiting for the clubs to finalise a transfer fee.
Napoli are expected to resume talks with PSV in the coming days with the aim of sealing the deal swiftly.
Lang joined PSV from Club Brugge in 2023 for 12.5 million and played a key role in their Eredivisie title win last season. He scored 14 goals and registered 12 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions, building on the promise he showed during his time in Belgium.
He has 14 caps and three goals for the Netherlands and featured in the Champions League last season, including a round of 16 clash against Arsenal.
Napoli had initially targeted Lang in January following the sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but PSV refused to sell mid-season. With the Dutch side now eyeing Ruben van Bommel as a replacement, the path is clear for Lang’s departure.
The move comes as part of a broader attacking rebuild for Napoli, who recently signed Kevin De Bruyne and remain interested in Federico Chiesa, Dan Ndoye and Jadon Sancho.
The Italian champions hope to add two wingers before the transfer window closes, while also pursuing reinforcements at centre-forward and in defence.
Lang’s arrival is not expected to prevent further signings out wide, particularly as Conte is keen on building a squad with more depth and variety in attack.
With his creativity and flair, Lang is seen as a player who can thrive in Serie A and add an edge to Napoli’s frontline heading into the 2025–26 campaign.
