Napoli defender Juan Jesus dropped a massive Kevin De Bruyne transfer hint on social media this morning, telling the Belgian ace on Instagram: ‘We are waiting for you!’

Manchester City star De Bruyne will decide on his future in the coming days, but Napoli seem the better-placed team to sign the 33-year-old on a free transfer.

The Partenopei began talks with KDB several weeks ago, and President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed negotiations with the midfielder on Sunday.

Just a few minutes ago, Napoli defender Juan Jesus commented on De Bruyne’s latest Instagram post, telling the Belgian midfielder that the Partenopei are “waiting for him.”

De Bruyne’s contract with Manchester City expires in June, which means he’s available as a free agent for the Serie A champions.

De Bruyne has also received an offer from Chicago Fire in the MLS, but according to various sources, Napoli are leading the race for his signature.

Why De Bruyne will leave Manchester City

“I have not had any offer the whole year, they [Man City] just took a decision,” De Bruyne said last month, via BBC.

“Obviously, I was a bit surprised but I just have to accept it. Honestly, I still think I can perform at this level like I’m showing, but I understand clubs have to make decisions.

“I feel like I still have a lot to give. Obviously I know I’m not 25 any more but I still feel like I can do my job.

“I’m open for anything. I have to look at the whole picture. I’m looking at sporting, family, everything together, what makes the most sense for me and my family.

“I like to play football. I like to compete. That’s what I feel, so I can’t say that I want to quit because I still feel that whenever I’m in training I want to beat the guys.”
