Breel Embolo (28) is attracting another suitor from Italy, Sky Sports News understands. The Swiss international is already a target for AS Roma and AC Milan, and, following an injury to Romelu Lukaku, he is also being considered by Napoli.

Embolo, amid transfer talks, was left out of Monaco’s matchday squad for the return of Ligue 1 football. Following his absence on Saturday, Monaco manager Adi Hütter gave an update on the player’s situation. “We will see what happens with Breel,” said Hütter in a press conference attended by Get French Football News. “He is always behind the squad. He likes to be one of the leaders, but sometimes there are hard decisions to take, as a manager, too. But how he is managing it, I have to praise him, too,” he added.

As the number of suitors rises, so do the chances of the Swiss forward leaving. He is now on Napoli’s shortlist, alongside players such as Rasmus Hojlund, Nikola Krstović, Andrea Pinamonti, and Dusan Vlahović.
