Youngster Ben Seghir is for his part in the midst of a productive campaign to date in the colours of the aforementioned Monaco.

Continuing to make a name for himself as one of the standout up-and-coming talents in France, the 20-year-old has racked up 43 appearances in all competitions, chipping in with nine goals and four assists along the way.

Such production at such a young age is already understood to have piqued the attentions of some of Europe’s leading clubs, keeping a close eye on the winger with a view to the summer.

If the latest word stemming from the media this weekend is anything to go by, though, then Ben Seghir himself appears to have his sights set on one landing spot above all others.

As per a report from Sport:

‘An admirer of Neymar and the Barça style of play, the ‘pearl’ of Monaco dreams of playing for Barcelona.’

It now remains to be seen if such interest is mutual on the part of the transfer team in Catalunya’s capital.
