Out of the picture at Chelsea, AS Monaco could look to bring Axel Disasi (27) back to the club, according to a report from Foot Mercato.
Disasi, since making the move from Monaco to Chelsea, has struggled to establish himself as a regular. The Frenchman spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, and it cannot be ruled out that the Birmingham-based club could make a late move to try and bring the centre-back back to Villa Park.
As well as Aston Villa’s interest, as well as that of Bournemouth, Monaco are also interested in Disasi. Two years after trading the Stade Louis II for Stamford Bridge, he could be set to return. Les Monégasques have already sold Wilfried Singo and are also looking to offload Mohammed Salisu before the closure of the transfer window.
Monaco want to sign the France international on loan, however, Chelsea are looking for a permanent move.
