Monaco duo Mika Biereth and Vanderson doubts to face Strasbourg | OneFootball

AS Monaco duo Mika Biereth and Vanderson are doubts to face RC Strasbourg Alsace on Saturday. Neither trained with the first team on Thursday, as per Nice-Matin journalist Christopher Roux.

Biereth came off with what looked like a potential injury during the 3-0 win over Olympique de Marseille last Saturday, however, the Dane’s injury was picked up during Wednesday’s training session, which was open to the public. He is suffering with a quadriceps issue and so underwent treatment on Thursday, rather than training with his teammates.

Vanderson also missed that session. Adi Hütter was less precise regarding the Brazilian’s issue with the Monaco manager simply stating that he was undergoing treatment. There are no other major injury concerns for Les Monégasques heading into Saturday’s game against RCSA. Mamadou Coulibaly, Lucas Michal, and Saïmon Bouabré, all of whom have trained with the first-team at times this season, were all also absent from training this morning.
