Once a promising talent at Manchester City, Mohammed Aminu has returned to his homeland in a bid to revive a career that has been on hold.

The 24-year-old Ghanaian winger has signed with Bechem United FC, who finished tenth in the previous Ghanaian league season. His main goal: to get back on the pitch after being without a club since September 2022.

First making a name for himself at the 2017 U17 World Cup with Ghana, Aminu earned a contract with Manchester City.

He featured in several matches for Manchester City's U23 squad before going out on loan to the Netherlands with NAC Breda U21, then FC Dordrecht, and finally Lommel SK in Belgium.

Now with Bechem United FC, the WAFA SC academy product has a golden opportunity to get his career back on track—and maybe even earn another move to Europe.
