AC Milan have the opportunity to win their fourth consecutive Serie A game in a row this weekend against Fiorentina, something which the Rossoneri have not done in some time.
Paulo Fonseca’s introduction to life at Milan was certainly difficult, but after the international break, things have started to come together somewhat. Although there have been two defeats since then, they have both been in the Champions League and there has been a lot of improvement between the games.
The improvement has been seen in the games themselves, and it could be seen on paper, with the Rossoneri having a chance to win their fourth successive game in a row. As Milan News recalls the last time the Rossoneri won four (or more) games consecutively came between March and April this year, and the games can be seen below:
Lazio 0-1 Milan Milan 1-0 Empoli Verona 1-3 Milan Fiorentina 1-2 Milan Milan 3-0 Lecce
Both teams have been given some injury news before the game. Milan will miss Davide Calabria, who has suffered a new injury in today’s training session, whereas Fiorentina will be without their star midfielder Rolando Mandragora as Raffaele Palladino confirmed in his post-match press conference.
Aside from that, Fonseca will likely look to name the same starting eleven that played against Bayer Leverkusen, but with Alvaro Morata replacing Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
