The hope of the AC Milan staff is to have four players back in their best condition for the game against Juventus in Saudi Arabia, a report claims.
MilanNews reports that after Sunday’s match against Roma, Milan will leave for Riyadh where they will participate in the final four of the Supercoppa Italiana. The first match – the semi-final – is scheduled for January 3 at 20:00 at the Al-Awwal Park in the Saudi capital against Juventus.
Both coaches arrive with various injury problems to deal with, given Juventus have had some injuries in the defensive department. At present Paulo Fonseca does not have eight players available, with the attacking department hit particularly hard.
Despite this, Christian Pulisic seems to be on the road to recovery, as well as Rafael Leao, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Yunus Musah. The goal is to get all four players back to 100% in view of the Supercoppa, an event that Milan are very keen to do well in, given that there is still a trophy at stake.
Sky reported earlier today that Pulisic did individual training at Milanello on Friday and therefore remains in doubt for the game against Roma on Sunday. Tomorrow’s session will be decisive in terms of whether or not he is called up and how big a role he plays.
